Dedicated to the brave men of the Hawaii County Police Department, willing to risk life and limb to protect our county and nation from the

HORRORS OF MARIJUANA ADDICTION...

Hanging from careening helicopters, hundreds of feet in the air or just a few feet from your front porch, these heroes are responsible for the confiscation (and/or destruction?) of HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS OF DOLLARS worth of marijuana every year.

($5.7 billion from 1985 through 1997!!)

These are just a few photos from my collection, showing some of their harrowing exploits within a few hundred feet of my rural home in Hawaiian Acres. These trusty guardians can be seen (and heard!) patrolling the air near my home, usually for several hours on two to four days every month. I have discovered them landing their helicopters in my yard on at least two occasions(unfortunately without prior notice, permission, or warrant).

We must not forget to thank also the members of the Hawaii County Council and the US Drug Enforcement Agency for accepting and supplying the funding and direction for these valiant efforts!
